It’s a race against time to fight climate change. You and your friends must work together to reduce global emissions before it’s too late! As you strategically deploy various climate solutions, you will be tested on your knowledge and your ability to prioritize. You will need to think critically about each solution and discuss with your teammates in order to avoid catastrophe.

Solutions is a collaborative, discussion-based game. A semi-competitive game mode is optional.

I never considered a boardgame about climate change as something I would buy or enjoy playing. But man was I wrong. Solutions was a blast to play and we were caught off guard by so many of its solutions. I do highly recommend to give it a try if the topic sounds only remotely interesting to you.

It made me want to learn more, it made me think a bit deeper. There was this aspect of suspense as well. The big thing was how dense it was intellectually, with how fun it still managed to be - like it didn't feel like a trivia game or something, it was still super super fun.

I have played this game with my family as well as with a group of very informed adults, and each time I have found it suspenseful, surprising and informative. It's a lot of fun and generated some great discussions.

This game has tremendous potential to bring more people into the climate movement. It encourages curiosity about solutions, and helps people to see the puzzle pieces that are needed, and what each can contribute, to solving the climate crisis. It has the potential to make people more hopeful and more engaged.

I really love the game and the fact that we can have conversations about these critical issues in ways that feel fun and engaging instead of heavy and overwhelming.

Everyone - depending on their age their education level, their culture - they provide a different perspective on how you can debate each of these solutions.

It's a game that looks like a game, but probably has the biggest real-life implications. I felt challenged in the best way. You don't even feel like you're learning things, you're just having a good time.

We laughed a lot, punctuated by, “Gee! I didn’t know that.” And, “No way!"

I found it to be very engaging as well as informative. What interested me the most was the way that the countdown structure of the game is inherently motivating-- I think it would be an exciting play even for someone not necessarily interested in the climate issues. Very useful and inspiring!

You learn a lot while you're playing, and it's so much fun because you get to collaborate, you get to debate your teammates, and it can be pretty funny when your assumptions get challenged.
